Handwoven black market basket is woven from durable plastic, making them long-lasting and suitable for outdoor use. We use upcycled plastic wherever possible. The plastic meets food grade requirements, so the products are safe to use in contact with food. You can clean them with a damp cloth or rinse with water, but do not scrub the surface, machine wash, spin dry or tumble dry. Allow to dry in a warm place, but not in direct sunlight
The handles and straps of our products are made from locally sourced leather. The leather is vegetable tanned, a process that uses organic materials and natural tannins derived from the bark, leaves and branches of trees and plants. " - Mifuko
